You may rearrange as well as add/remove columns in the table.
To change the order of columns, click and hold on the header of the column you wish to move and drag your mouse to the desired location.
To add/remove columns, click the drop-down arrow on the right of each column header. Within Columns, select the data fields you wish to display on the table.
You can save an activity with GPS location information as a course.
The speed, pace, and time information from your activity is saved in the course.
You can change the speed, pace, or time of a course to set course goals. These settings are used to pace the virtual training and racing features on devices that support these features.
The values of the other fields update automatically based on the value you enter.
Activities are actual fitness events that you upload from your fitness device or enter manually. You can view your activities in the Activities tab. You can link an activity to the course you followed when performing the activity. Linking your activities to courses allows you to sort your activities by course so that you can easily compare your performance to other activities and course goals.
Activity types are categories of activities that can be performed on a course. For example, one course may be created for running or walking while another course be created for biking. See "How do I add activity types to a course?" for more information.

You can select whether a course is private or public. If you set a course to public, other Garmin Connect users can view the course using the Explore tab.
NOTE: You can change the default privacy setting in your account settings. See "How do I change my Privacy Preference?" in the "Settings" section of the FAQ for more information.
If the lock is open, the course is public. If the lock is closed, the course is private.
You can send a course using e-mail, or you can post a course to a social networking site. You can only share public courses. See "How do I change the privacy setting of a course?" for more information.
You can use the Explore tab to view public activities and public courses from other users.
The duration determines when a step ends. Not all devices support all duration types. Heart rate and power durations require ANT+ accessories.
The target is the performance level that should be maintained throughout the step. You can set the target in terms of power output, cadence (repetitions per minute), heart rate, speed, or pace.
You can copy a workout to use it as the basis for a new workout.
When you find the training plan you wish to use, you'll be asked to choose either a Start Date or an End Date. After that, select Add to Calendar.
Once you've added a training plan to your calendar, you can view it using the Plan tab and selecting Training Plans. All training plans you've added to your calendar will be visible there, even after you've finished the plan.
After you have chosen a training plan and added it to your Garmin Connect calendar, you can send every workout in the plan to your device. When signed in to your account, go to the Plan tab and select Calendar. Then select Send to Device.
Please note, cycling workouts will not show on running devices, and running workouts will not show on cycling devices. All workouts will show on multisport devices.
You must select at least 2 activities but no more than 4.
By default Distance, Time, Avg. Pace and Calories are displayed. If you want to see more, you can click More Details.
Garmin Connect will search for activities that are within .4 miles (1.2KM) and match the activity type.
Make sure your activity is Public. Click on the Share icon and you'll be given options to send a link of your activity via e-mail to anyone you specify or to contacts already in your address books at the major web-based e-mail services. You can also post your activity to your favorite social networking and bookmarking sites.
If you want to change the Goal Type or Measured Over period, we recommend deleting that goal and creating a different goal with your preferred criteria.
