What devices work at Garmin Connect Photos?

Any Garmin device with photo navigation functionality. This includes Garmin nüvi 205, 205W, 255, 255W, 760 (Asia only), 850, 860, 880 and 5000. As well as, Garmin Mobile XT for Symbian (Asia only).

What browsers and operating systems does Garmin Connect Photos support?

Garmin Connect Photos supports official releases of Internet Explorer 6+, Firefox 2+ and Safari 3+. While the site may work with beta versions of these browsers, we do not test for these versions until they are officially released.

In order to send photos from Garmin Connect Photos to your Garmin device, you must install the Garmin Communicator plugin 2.3.1+. It’s a free browser plugin that transfers data between supported websites and Garmin devices.

Remove the Garmin Mobile XT card from your phone. Connect the card to your computer via USB card-reader or other. After selecting photos, click the Send to Device button.

Why is there a photo download limit?

The download limit is a partner limitation with Panoramio. Each user can download 50 photos a day.

How do I find photos for a specific location?

Enter the location name into the search field and click the Search button.

What is advanced search?

Advanced Search allows you to add filters to your search. Photo type allows you to choose Photos of Places or All (photos of places and people). Sort by allows you to sort by Popularity or Upload date.

How do I add all photos on the map to the staging area?

Click the Add all photos button above the map.

How do I search by map boundary?

Zoom and pan map to desired location, and then click the Redo Search in Map Area button.

Once the photo is in the staging area on the right, select the photo and click on the photo title to edit. The new name will be saved to your device.
