Day One of our Epic Trip to Womble 2009 with AP, KL, JR, DL. Trail was wet, but still rideable even though the trailhead was under water from the lake overflow. Randy dropped us about 10:30 and we had a food drop waiting for us halfway. No real trouble except for DL burping a tire and KL and DL spilling over a patch of loose trail. Perfect weather and a perfect ride except for the spiders. Insanely fun ride and beautiful scenery.
